This back yard oasis is immersive and welcoming to wildlife, creating a haven for both clients and critters. Birds and pollinators have flourished here in the years since its creation; a remarkable transformation from a void expanse of lawn to a thriving retreat.
The clients wanted a bountiful space in which to garden, with flow and access for maintenance throughout, blending areas of dense perennials into areas for vegetables and fruits. A small pond allows the clients to enjoy water lilies, and offers a fresh water source to wildlife.
The front yard is a deer resistant landscape featuring a small dry stream bed and robust easy care plantings.
