Bright tones in foliage elevate an otherwise shady space, bringing light and movement into layered plantings. A multifunctional design for this young family, the driveway of permeable formed concrete slabs and thyme doubles as a play space and encourages pollinators. Raspberries, blueberries, native berry shrubs and espaliered fruit trees maximize edible opportunities for grazing kids.
