An abundant backyard for an intimate garden, this space features a cascading stream into a small fish pond, surrounded by lush perennials. This feature was sited so that it can be viewed through the large back window, framing the changing seasons as they merge from one to the next.
A sunken fire pit patio is surrounded by shrubs and trees, and nestled into the space creating a private corner.
Gravel paths across a large retaining wall provide maintenance access and a destination niche patio overlooking the pond.
A gardener’s garden, this oasis was designed with a lot of negative space for new perennials and favorite annuals, changing in its composition every year. Dear clients to work with, and my children especially enjoyed visiting the pond!
